Designed by Industrial Facility
Designers Sam Hecht and Kim Colin of London-based Industrial Facility set out to provide "discovered pleasure in flexibility" when they created the Enchord desk and mobile cabinet, or as Hecht explained, "you become more aware of what it can do as you use it."

A member of Herman Miller's award-winning Lifework™ Portfolio, the Enchord Mobile Cabinet embraces a minimal aesthetic while boasting a useful design. It neatly comprises several storage compartments, allowing easy categorization of items in a compact space.

The Design

• Continuing their legacy of collaborating with outstanding problem solvers to help people work more efficiently and effectively, Herman Miller partnered with Industrial Facility for the Lifework Portfolio, their innovative collection for the modern home office.



• Designer Kim Colin's goals for the Enchord Desk apply equally well to the cabinet: to create a product that is "functional and flexible to match people's lives, yet simple, understated, and elegant - not overengineered or too dramatic - so it fits in multiple environments."



• The Enchord Mobile Cabinet features several compartments to keep files, writing instruments and peripherals in order. With a color scheme that complements the Enchord Desk, the Enchord Mobile Cabinet seamlessly blends style and utility.
