George Nelson laid out five tenets of Herman Miller's design philosophy 50 years ago:

- The product must be honest.
- You decide what you will make.
- There is a market for good design.
While fashion and style have their place, the main criterion for a Herman Miller product has remained constant: Does it truly solve a problem that people care about in a way that improves upon other solutions, or pioneers a new and better answer altogether? The answer is Yes.

great sitting nursing in this chair. design fits the rest of the bedroom furniture well. was a bit dissapointed with the wooden legs, which are a bit yellowish and not so natural looking.

We have always wanted this chair but were unsure where to put it. Recently we remodeled my 10 year old daughters room and placed the chair in the corner on the rug. She uses it when reading or hanging out with friends. We admire it every day.

This chair is great! The molded plastic is very comfortable- great for daily use. I am looking forward to having this piece of furniture for a very long time. My husband and I fight over who gets to sit in the rocker. We may just have to get a second one!
