This lumbar pad fits into the back of an Aeron work chair to further support the lower back. The pad can be reversed to adjust for more or less support; one side of the pad is 0.75" and the other is 1.25"
Black finish is recommended for Aeron chairs with graphite base/frame finishes. Smoke finish is recommended for Aeron chairs with titanium base/frame finishes.

We love the chair and have had it for 7 years. Only issue is when you lean back (by mistake) it just doesn't support you. The back should be a bit more steady, so that one can't lean back.

The color was close enough to be usable, but I am disappointed that your operator could not determine the color of the item that I needed from the product number on my broken lumbar support.

the simplified Aeron lumbar kit is an excellent, and optimal alternative to the much touted, but overly complicated lumbar support which attaches to the main base of the chair. Unlike the cumbersome and complicated construction of the latter, the much simpler Aeron Lumbar Kit is a single molded piece fitting nicely and easily onto the molded track of the chair-back; it can be positioned optimally with no fuss, confusion or complication. I highly recommend this item to those wishing to take advantage of, and add further important lumbar support to the already suberb Aeorn ergonomics and comfort, without becoming Herman Miller� industrial design engirneers.
